- 1001 fonts - use with caution - make sure to follow any rules and embed the font if you are using it with InDesign or Acrobat.
- Audacity - great, free software for recording and editing sound files.
- Creative Pro - Fonts - lots of great articles, etc. about fonts.
- dafont - same as above.
- Fonts2U - great site for free fonts. Lots of image fonts (dinosaurs, hieroglyphics, etc.)
- Font Squirrel - nice font site. Be sure to pay attention to any license requirements.
- Free Soundtrack Music - A royalty free music site that has some music that is completely free (you can search by free) and some that has a by credit (from $2.99 for one to $15.99 for $24). Worth looking at.
- Fonts.com - not free fonts, but easiest to use and best prices.
- incompetech - royalty free music site (for background music). Be sure to follow any rules listed.
- iStockphoto.com - remember, you can ask for a photo or image. I get 10 credits a day. Just search istock and find an image you want. Copy the url and send it to me. Often, I can get it for you the same day, but if not, within a few days.
- melody loops - royalty free music site. You do pay for the files, but only once and the cost is small. One file for $6.99, two for $11.98, five for $24.95 and ten for $39.90. Not too much to pay for legal, quality background music.
- Morguefile - free images (be sure to look for any requirements by the author for each photo).
- SimplytheBest Free Fonts - Nice collection of free fonts. Great place for holiday fonts.
