Tip of the Week - Inspirationfeed

As always, I am on the lookout for websites/blogs I think will be helpful. This weekend, I found one called Inspirationfeed. I found it on the Facebook Photoshop page. It was a link to an article, 55 Visionary Examples of Creative Photography #6 that got my attention. As I read the article and viewed the amazing photography a pop up suggested I check out 45 Visionary Examples of Creative Photography #5, which of course I did. Once there, it was suggested I check out 40 Visionary Examples of Creative Photography #4 and so on... I decided to check out the rest of the site and found some wonderful articles and my favorite - freebies!

I found the icon set to the left and several more freebies that you might find helpful. Just click on the one's you like and download the zip file and extract - simple easy and a real time/money saver! Check the site out and let me know what you think.

How to Create a Blog with Google

Hi Everyone - As most of you know, I taught a webinar last week - How to Create a Blog with Google. I promised that I would create step by step directions. I did so and sent them to those who attended.  I thought others might like to have a copy as well. Here's a link to the document. It covers everything I did during the webinar. Let me know if you have any questions.

Tip of the Week - Great Blog for Photographers

I found a great new blog for photographers I’d like to share. It’s Improve Photography and the owner/creator is Jim Harmer. Jim is a photographer and author of photography books. His site offers lots of great tips for photographers including the article that led me to him in the first place, 101 Portrait Photography tips.

There are articles for the beginner such as How to Properly Hold a DSLR Camera and specialized photography such as 10 Top Tips for Shooting Birds in Flight.

Jim also teaches online classes. His latest was a one month class and cost $87. It was sold out, so if you want to take one of his classes, you should sign up as soon as you see it. Sign up for his e-mail or RSS feed so you know what’s new or buy one of his books. I think you will be pleased.

Tip of the Week - Great Blog for Videographers and Those Who Would Like to Be

When searching for sites for the blog, I came across one I go to over and over when working with video production. It is Videomaker - Your Guide to Creating and Publishing Great Video. I get e-mail updates and often find the topics quite relevant for my project of the moment, such as Using Household Items for Video Production, or Six Steps to Great Video Production.

The site offers reviews on cameras and editing software as well. The dowload page is a great place to find some freebies as well. Check it out and let me know what you think.
